Was supposed to track various vocalisations today, but both Mrs. P and I came down with a dose of manflu, so that plan was rightly scuppered. Welcome to the world of "shtuff"...

Luckily I had a Plan B, so I edited and dubbed-up ...FLY in CE5. Sorted all my delays and fixed one or two irritating elements. The track is pretty much ready to mix/master, but I reserve the right to make a few edits on the day.

More work tomorrow - the exact nature of that work depends on "shtuff"...

My Troubles Are As Nothing Compared To Yours - 221014

Tracked 9 Ric bass parts on the Tascam 2488 using the Line 6 Bass Pod XT. Audio cleanup in AA3 and inserted into the relevant project file in CE5.

The track has, unintentionally, taken on a slight resemblance to this...:-

...and no harm in that.

Incidentally, I only realised this morning that the title I had originally intended for this track was "My Problems Are As Nothing Compared To Yours". Think I prefer "troubles" myself.

May start a new track tomorrow. Who knows?

Should've worked on the album yesterday, but an issue arose which required a bit of a road trip. All resolved now, thank goodness, and it could've been a lot worse. But it shouldn't have happened at all. Grrrrr.....

Anyway, back in the Gulag...

Edited the Ric bass parts and Squier Strat parts in CE5. No major issues to report. I will have to program MIDI drum parts over the next few days, and then think about some synths. Or maybe a melodica...;-).
